Refund Policy
Ambleside School of Boerne is committed to providing a high-quality education to your child(ren). In order to fulfill our duties, responsibilities and ultimate mission of serving your child, annual commitments are made to hire teachers and staff, rent facilities, and purchase curriculum materials, office and classroom supplies and equipment. These costs incurred by the school do not decrease when a child is withdrawn, they are a fixed cost for the entire school year. Therefore, Ambleside School of Boerne has a *strict no refund/no waiver policy for tuition and fees. If a child is withdrawn at any time after your commitment is made, for any reason, including expulsion, there will be no refund of tuition and fees already paid, and no waiver of tuition and fees to be paid over the remaining period of your installment agreement**. This policy applies to the full school year’s tuition and fees. Transcripts and/or school records will not be released upon withdrawal from the School until all tuition and fees are paid in full. Lastly, all tuition and related fees are due on or before the payment deadline. In cases of withdrawal or expulsion, no refunds of previously paid tuition and fees and no waivers of future bank draft payments will be given.
*In cases of severe illness, job loss or relocation, grace may be given upon the consent of the School Board.
**Tuition and fees are considered due in full at the time of enrollment. We understand the total amount is difficult for some families to pay in its entirety at one time, and we therefore offer the option of paying in installments throughout the year. This only changes the timing of your payments on the total balance due to our School – this debt is considered owed and due at the time of enrollment.

Family Financial Health
We know that every applicant family invests significantly in the lives of their children through contributing time, prayer, support, and tuition money. We also know that there are families that need assistance with the cost of an Ambleside education. We are here to help.
Through a combination of family and extended-family support, church contributions, and Ambleside’s own tuition assistance, dozens of families like yours have received help to send their children through the grades at Ambleside. We encourage you to explore each of these three key sources of financial assistance. Below, you’ll find your guide to the third source, tuition assistance for the 2022-23 school year.
Tuition Assistance Availability
Ambleside’s tuition assistance fund is filled directly by our community members who want to see others benefit from the same education their children have experienced. Assistance is available for full-time students in 1st – 8th grades whose families have a demonstrated need. Assistance is first awarded to re-enrolling families with a completed application.
Ambleside will begin tuition assistance discussions with new family applicants with completed FACTS applications in February and March.
Tuition Assistance Application Process:
FACTS, a third-party organization, conducts the financial need analysis for applicant families. Families applying for assistance may complete an online application at Online.FactsMgt.com and provide the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS. We cannot finalize your tuition assistance grant until FACTS has received your most current tax returns.
Families seeking tuition assistance should apply provisionally while their tuition assistance request is being processed. Ambleside will refund the deposit fee if the school is unable to meet the FACTS recommended award.
As a reminder, the following information is required in order for FACTS to process your request:
- Completed online FACTS application
- Copies of your recent tax forms, including all supporting tax schedules
- Copies of your current W-2 form (both parents or guardians)
- Copies of other supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Workers Compensation, etc.
If you have questions or concerns regarding the tuition assistance application process, you may speak with a FACTS Customer Care Representative by calling (866) 315-9262. If you have questions about the process of tuition assistance, please contact us.
